Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury is a distinguished Bangladeshi bureaucrat, a former adviser with the rank of minister in the 2001 caretaker government, and the visionary founder of BYEAH in 2007. Currently, he serves as an advisory committee member of BYEAH. Having completed his MA with First Class honors in Modern History from the University of Dhaka in 1964, he embarked on a remarkable 33-year career in Civil Service. As a Fullbright Scholar, he pursued further studies in Public Administration at the University of Tennessee. Notably, Mr. Chowdhury holds the distinction of being the Founder Chair of the SME Foundation, Tiger Tours Ltd., and the Federation of NGOs in Bangladesh (FNB). Prior to his current role, he dedicated seven years as the Executive Director of BRAC. With over 50 years of extensive experience in public policy formulation and implementing development projects, Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury continues to make an indelible mark on the field of public service and philanthropy.
