Layla Harun Naznin, an emerging writer and lyricist, embarked on her literary journey during her undergraduate studies. Her passion for literature led to the publication of her first poem, “Bhabnar Saikate,” in a weekly magazine while she was in the ninth grade. Layla Harun Naznin, recognized for her eloquence and introverted disposition, continued to craft a diverse array of literary works, including stories, essays, poems, and articles. Throughout her academic and professional life, Layla remained devoted to the literary arts. She made significant contributions to the field of music, beginning her career as a playback artist and lyricist with contracts from Bangladesh Betar and Bangladesh Television in 1976 and 1978, respectively. Today, Layla Harun Naznin is celebrated as a distinguished special category playback artist and lyricist, with her songs regularly gracing the airwaves and her penned lyrics embraced by numerous artists in the nation.
