Since our foundation, we’ve trained roughly 4,500 budding entrepreneurs, catalyzing the launch of 1,700 youth-driven ventures. We’ve bolstered 900 established businesses, culminating in the generation of over 6,000 jobs. In 2021, our digital pivot enriched 10,000 more youths with entrepreneurial insights, amplifying our influence throughout Bangladesh.
Our Impact Through Zarin's Story
Zarrin Tasnim is a promising youth wearing many hats: a woman, a student, a mother, and an entrepreneur. Travelling 350 kilometres the whole night from Nilphamari, attending the incubation sessions while holding her child in her arms, and becoming one of the winners of Bangladesh Youth Enterprise Competition & Incubation 1.0 was not an easy journey for her.
Zarrin, overcoming personal challenges and starting with just BDT 5000, established a thriving handicrafts business in Nilphamari, training over 200 women initially. Her involvement with the Bangladesh Youth Enterprise Competition & Incubation 1.0 transformed her approach, enhancing her leadership and business acumen, and with their mentorship, she expanded her training to over 600 women. Grateful for the accelerated growth and exposure BYEAH provided, which she believes would’ve taken three years otherwise, Zarrin is now investing in a training center and showroom, projecting an annual net profit of over 3,000,000 BDT.
Since our inception, we’ve embarked on a transformative journey that has touched the lives of thousands. We’ve provided entrepreneurship training to approximately 4,500 young individuals, nurturing their skills and fostering a spirit of innovation. As a result, they’ve harnessed this knowledge to kickstart 1,700 youth-led businesses, providing an economic lifeline to countless communities.
Moreover, we’ve extended our support to 900 existing businesses, fortifying their foundations and propelling them towards growth. Through our combined efforts, more than 6,000 jobs have been created, fostering economic independence and resilience.
In 2021, we took a bold step to evolve with the ever-changing landscape of our beneficiaries’ needs. Embracing innovation and the power of technology, we transitioned our support services to online platforms. This strategic shift shattered geographical barriers, enabling us to reach and impact aspiring entrepreneurs in every corner of Bangladesh.
Through our dynamic online platform, we’ve empowered over 10,000 youth with access to high-quality entrepreneurial education. This initiative not only enhances their skills but also creates a ripple effect of opportunities, driving economic growth and transformation within the nation. We continue to adapt and innovate, working tirelessly to unlock the potential of Bangladesh’s youth and contribute to a brighter future for all.
