Golam Mainuddin, an advisory committee member of BYEAH, holds an illustrious professional background. He served as the Chairman of British American Tobacco Bangladesh from August 2008. With a Master of Science degree from Dhaka University, Mr. Mainuddin currently holds key positions in several organizations. He serves as an Independent Director and is the Chairman of the Audit Committee for Advanced Chemical Industries (ACI) Bangladesh. Additionally, he is a Director of Apex Adelchi Footwear and the Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC) at the Ministry of Finance in Bangladesh. Mr. Mainuddin’s extensive professional engagement extends to roles such as Director of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI), a Committee member of the Metropolitan Chambers of Commerce and Industries (MCCI), and an Executive Committee member of the Bangladesh Employers Federation (BEF). Notably, his contributions were recognized by the Government of Bangladesh, which declared him a CIP (Commercially Important Person) for the years 2010 and 2012.
