Ubaidur Rob, a founding governing board member of BYEAH, boasts a rich academic and professional background. He is a PhD holder in population planning from the University of Michigan and holds an MS in applied statistics from the University of London. Currently, he serves as the Country Director of the Population Council in Bangladesh, bringing his extensive knowledge and expertise to the organization. With a remarkable career spanning 25 years, Mr. Rob has excelled in managing, developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating development research projects. He has contributed as a visiting professor at Jahangirnagar University and served as a research and evaluation advisor with AVSC (now EngenderHealth). His commitment to education extends to teaching a postgraduate course at the University of Dhaka and supervising master’s and PhD students, further nurturing the next generation of scholars and researchers.
