Hedayetullah Al Mamoon is a retired Senior Secretary at the Ministry of Finance of Bangladesh and the chairperson of Janata Bank. In 2008, Mamun was appointed the Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary affairs. Bangladesh Judicial Service Association expressed concern over the appointment of Mamun as he was an admin cadre. In 2009, Mamun served as the Secretary at the Ministry of Culture. He then became the secretary at the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism in October 2009. Mamun served as the Secretary at the Ministry of Information. From 2014 to 28 February 2017, Mamun served as the Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce. Mamun became the member secretary of the newly launched Association of Former Secretaries. He is also a member of the governing body of Bangladesh Institute of Governance and Management.

Armina Hoq is currently working as the Operations and Finance Manager at Nisai Group. She also worked as the Partner Relationship Manager at Augmedix. Armina Hoq completed BSc in Mathematics with Management from the University of Surrey.
Sumala Subat Chowdhury has worked in the Development sector and helped set up one of the leading Tourism Companies in Bangladesh. She has worked in the areas of Education, Innovation, Communication, Marketing and Corporate Affairs. She is currently working at UCEP. She has also worked as the Head of Innovation at iSocial. She received her MA in Governance and Development from The Institute of Development Studies (IDS), Sussex.
M.K. Aaref is a general member of B’YEAH. He is an architect and planner. Mr. Aaref trained both in the US and the UK and also worked as a consultant in the post-privatization regulatory framework for local government agencies. He is also involved in writing and cultural programming. He was the Founder Director of the Edward M Kennedy Center for Public Service and the Arts, also known simply as the EMK Center.
Mohammad Kamrul Hasan Bhuiyan is one of the newest board members of B’YEAH. He is currently the Director – Finance, Grants, and Administration of The Asia Foundation. Mr. Bhuiyan has more than 17 years of experience in the development financing sector. Mr. Bhuiyan graduated in Accounting from National University and completed his MBA majoring in finance in 2008 from BRAC University.
Faizul Latif Chowdhury is a famous Diplomat and Economist. He completed his post-graduation in Economics from the University of Dhaka. Later, he obtained a master’s degree in public policy from Deakin University, Australia, and holds an MBA from London School of Economics and Political Science, UK.
Since the very beginning, Prof. Syed Fakhrul Hassan Murad has served B’YEAH as a core board member and a former treasurer. He is the Former Chairman & Key Resource Person at the International Centre for Technology & Management and a former member of the Board of Governors at Centre for Development Innovation and Practices – CDIP. He completed his M. Sc. in Textile Tech. from Manchester University in 1990
Gulshan Nassrin Chowdhury joined B’YEAH in 2019 with a vision to train and educate the young generation in the design sector, especially women, to become economically independent, creative and in the end become assets for the country. She has been the Chairperson of Radiant Institute of Design since 2007. She is also the Director of Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI), Executive Member of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), and an advisor of Classic Magazine. She completed her bachelor’s degree from National University in 2004.
Salauddin Kasem Khan is one of the leading industrialist and development thinkers in Bangladesh. He is the Executive Chairman of the SEACO Foundation and Co-Chairman of the EC National Skills Development Council (NSDC), headed by the Prime Minister. He is also the Former President of Bangladesh Employers’ Federation and Former Chairman of AKTEL, Bangladesh.
Ubaidur Rob is one of the pioneer governing board members of B’YEAH. He holds a PhD in population planning from the University of Michigan, an MS in applied statistics from the University of London. He is also the Country Director of the Population Council in Bangladesh. Mr. Rob’s work is informed by 25 years of experience managing, developing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating development research projects. Previously, he was a visiting professor at Jahangirnagar University, a research and evaluation advisor with AVSC (now EngenderHealth). He teaches a postgraduate course at the University of Dhaka and supervises master’s and PhD students.
Shahariar Sadat is currently the treasurer of B’YEAH. He has been serving the organization since 2017 as an active board member, and from 2021, he has been appointed as the treasurer. Mr. Sadat completed his post-graduation in Economics from the University of Dhaka in 2000. Later he graduated in Law from the University of London and completed a Master’s in Industrial and Employment Relations from ITCILO under the University of Turin. He is also the Director of the Centre for Peace & Justice (CPJ), BRAC University. He is an advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Mr. Sadat has more than 22 years of combined professional experience in planning development projects & justice advocacy.
Ahmadul Hoq is the Managing Director of Nisai Bangladesh Ltd. He is also the Founder and President of Bangladesh Association of Call Centre and Outsourcing (BACCO) till 2017. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Bangladesh Industry Skills Council (ISC) for ICT, under the government of Bangladesh. In parallel he is a founder Director of B’YEAH in partnership with Youth Business International, UK a Mentor Program for Entrepreneurs of Bangladesh since 2008. He co-authored the Bangladesh Government Policy on the Contact Centre and BPO Industry with the support of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC). Mr. Hoq is also the Vice Chairman of the Bangladesh Industry Skills Council (ISC) for ICT, under the government of Bangladesh. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington – College of Business in Accounting.
Manzoor Hasan OBE is a lawyer-cum-economist trained at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and at the London School of Economics & Political Science, London, England. Mr. Hasan is currently serving as the Chair of B’YEAH as well as the Executive Director of Centre for Peace and Justice (CPJ), BRAC University and an Adviser to the BRAC Institute of Governance & Development (BIGD). He has previously worked as the Deputy Executive Director, BRAC, Regional Director (Asia-Pacific) of Transparency International , and the Founding Executive Director of Transparency International Bangladesh. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II awarded him the Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2003. He has 40+ years of professional experience in advocacy, policy development & governance.
SAM Showket Hossain is best known in Bangladesh Corporate Sector as an Inspirer of leadership, people and organization development. He is an advisory committee member of B’YEAH. SAM Showket Hossain is currently Group Chairman and Managing Director of Centre for Developing Management Excellence, TACK International Bangladesh-Nepal, TMI Bangladesh-Nepal, Express One Limited, and Editor of Commerce & Industry. Mr. Showket is a member of the National Press Club for more than 30 years and former Vice President of the Bangladesh News Paper Employees Federation. Mr. Showket’s academic brilliance in Law, he did his LL.M and LLB (Hons) from Dhaka University. He also obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management from the Bangladesh Institute of Management and obtained another Diploma in Leadership from the Institute of leadership, UK.
Mr. Golam Mainuddin is an advisory committee member of B’YEAH. He is the former Chairman of British American Tobacco Bangladesh since August 2008. After obtaining his Master of Science degree from Dhaka University. Mr. Mainuddin also serves as an Independent Director and the Chairman of the Audit Committee of Advanced Chemical Industries (ACI) Bangladesh, Director of Apex Adelchi Footwear and the Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC) at the Ministry of Finance, Bangladesh. He also served as the Director of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI), a Committee member of Metropolitan Chambers of Commerce and Industries (MCCI), and an Executive Committee member of Bangladesh Employers Federation (BEF). He was declared as CIP (Commercially Important Person) by the Government of Bangladesh for the year 2010 and 2012.
Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury is a retired Bangladeshi bureaucrat and former adviser, with the rank of minister of the 2001 caretaker government. He founded B’YEAH in 2007. At present, he is an advisory committee member of B’YEAH. Upon completing his MA with First Class in Modern History from the University of Dhaka in 1964, he started his 33-year-long career in Civil Service. He also attended the University of Tennessee as a Fullbright Scholar to study Public Administration. He is the Founder Chair of the SME Foundation, Tiger tours Ltd. and the Federation of NGOs in Bangladesh (FNB). Mr. Chowdhury previously served as the Executive Director of BRAC for seven years. He has a wide range of 50+ years of experience in public policy formulation and implementing development projects.
Shahin Forhad is the Capacity Building Coordinator of B’YEAH. He has been working for entrepreneurship development in Bangladesh for more than 13 years.He has already provided entrepreneurship development training to more than 4000 thousand trainees, special to youth and women. Mr. Forhad received his MSS degree in Social Work from University of Rajshahi.
Md. Rashed Mamun is the Executive Director of B’YEAH. He is an impact-driven leader with extensive cross-cultural experience in spearheading dynamic teams in ICT, Education, and Capacity Development sectors in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste, Philippines, and Myanmar, alongside hands-on knowledge of business process enhancement, change management, training, and management consulting in both not-for-profit and for-profit. He has particular expertise and interest in aligning business goals with technology solutions to achieve organizational sustainability through ensuring continuous process improvements. He is trained in Dr. Mikel J. Harry Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Programme and PMI-USA certified Project Management Professional (PMP) to deploy, implement and engage superior strategies, tactics, and tools – regardless of the organization’s size or the nature of its business. Mr. Mamun completed Master’s in Development Studies (MDS) from the University of Dhaka and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from North South University.
Shahin Miah is the Senior Finance Officer for the Finance and Accounts department, leading B’YEAH finance to record financial transactions and produce financial reports. He is responsible for the financial management of the organization by developing plans for long-term financial goals. He monitors the utilization and implementation of the project’s funds and informs the management of taking necessary steps as well as planning to utilize the remaining grants. His experiences as a senior finance officer with B’Yeah allowed him to develop accounting and management cost estimation and budgeting skills. Additionally, he has more than twelve (12) years of experience in the field of finance and accounts working in the national and international NGOs. Shahin Miah completed a certificate course on information system audit (IS Audit), IFRS & IAS from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance from Bangladesh University is up to date with current accountancy practices.
Nazmul Hasan Nadim has been working at B’YEAH as the Communications and Knowledge Management Officer since May, 2022. Mr. Nadim is responsible for leading and executing communications strategies along with producing digital contents and knowledge materials for B’Yeah. He is also certified from Youth Business International as a Growth and Performance Skills trainer for entrepreneurs. Previously, Mr. Nadim has worked as a ‘Project Holder’ of a European Union funded project. Before joining B’Yeah, he worked for the Centre for Peace and Justice, BRAC University for 8 months. He is also the founder of United Action Foundation which is a non-profit voluntary organization. For his excellent humanitarian contribution in the society, Mr. Nadim has been recognised with the title of Global Goodwill Ambassador by Global Goodwill Ambassadors Foundation in 2019. Nazmul Hasan Nadim completed MSS and BSS both in Development Studies from Bangladesh University of Professionals.
Md. Mazedur Rahman is working as the Admin & HR Officer at B’YEAH and having more than 12 years` experience in the field of accounts and admin in the Development Sector. During that period, he has successfully played roles in training, communications and finance as well. Md. Mazedur Rahman attained his MBS and BBS degree from National University.
Sajal Mallick is a Program Officer of B’YEAH for the project field office team to implement all project activities in project field level area. He is responsible for the field level project activities of the organization by developing plans for long-term project goals. He is a results-oriented and highly enthusiastic humanities and development professional with over 5 years’ experience in Entrepreneur & Youth Group Development, Education, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and Child Protection, Humanitarian Crisis (Rohingya Refugee issue) & Livelihood. Sajal Mallick is a postgraduate from National University in Social Science. He also completed the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from there.
Tania Akter is a Program officer for the Youth Entrepreneurship development department of B’YEAH. Her core responsibilities include creating and conducting entrepreneur selection databases, conducting entrepreneur development training, mentoring and mentor matching and training on their skills development, creating informative presentations, presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences. creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients. Tania Akter completed her MBA with a major in finance from Stamford University. She has completed her masters of education in Botany from Barisal Govt. B.M. College.
Ali Ahmad Sahal is the ICT Officer of B’YEAH. He is responsible for maintaining the computer networks of the organization, providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly.He also monitors and maintains the company computer systems, installs, and configures hardware and software, and solves technical issues as they arise. Ali Ahmad Sahal received his MBS and BBS degree from National University.
