Bangladesh Youth Enterprise Advice & Helpcentre (BYEAH) is delighted to share that the journey of SGI2 Challenge 2023 has officially started with an introduction session, held virtually on October 8, 2023, this session marked a significant step in the journey of early-stage social and green businesses in Bangladesh towards meaningful impact and growth.
The Online Introduction Session gathered a diverse group of selected entrepreneurs who are committed to addressing pressing social and environmental challenges in Bangladesh. This innovative program, developed in partnership with Youth Business International (YBI) and esteemed collaborators, including Biniyog.io, The Future Startup, and Innoventure Universe Ltd., is designed to empower and propel these businesses towards success. During the session, participants were introduced to the core elements of the SGI2 Challenge 2023, including its objectives and the remarkable opportunities it offers. The virtual environment enabled them to connect with fellow entrepreneurs who share their passion for driving social and environmental change.
One of the standout features of the program is the robust financial support it provides. Participants have the potential to secure grants of up to BDT 1,50,000, offering a vital boost to accelerate the growth of their ventures. Additionally, they can tap into the resources of biniyog.io, a crowdfunding platform, which opens doors to debt-based funds ranging from BDT 3 lakh to 15 lakh per business, based on risk-scoring results. The program also emphasizes the importance of networking. Entrepreneurs participating in SGI2 Challenge 2023 will have numerous opportunities to connect with like-minded peers, creating a dynamic and collaborative cohort.
