Sadia Tabassum Addrita
Sadia Tabassum Addrita is a Research Associate of Bangladesh Youth Enterprise Advice & Helpcentre (B’Yeah). Her work involves doing an in-depth study of primary and secondary data and designing feasible and sustainable solutions for NGOs, SMEs, and other commercial organizations. She has also contributed as the Social and Green Entrepreneurship Lead at B’Yeah, where she has done market analysis to understand the scope of green entrepreneurship in Bangladesh. From her passion for working with children in her community, she co-founded ZenEd – an initiative by a young team of enthusiastic individuals who are dedicated to teaching 21st-century skills to teenagers. Other than this, she is also working as a Co-facilitator at Amra Notun Network, a program of BRAC’s Youth Platform. Currently, she is completing her BBA from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, with a major in Marketing and a minor in Human Resource. Addrita aspires to work in management roles in national and international development projects after completing her under-grad in 2023.
Fateha Laila Noor
Fateha Laila Noor is working as a Research Associate (Intern) at Bangladesh Youth Enterprise Advice & Helpcentre (B’Yeah). Her responsibilities include desk research and writing contents for B’Yeah. Fateha also works as Administrative Manager at United Action Foundation which is a non-profit voluntary organization. During Covid-19 in 2020, Laila worked as a volunteer at “Better Bangladesh” initiative of project AHA, funded by the European Union. She was the Assistant Organizing Secretary of BUP Development Leaders’ Club where she was responsible for organizing events and writing different contents. She graduated from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) with a degree in Development Studies in 2021 and is currently studying for a Master’s in the same discipline.

Sidratul Muntaha
Sidratul Muntaha joined B’Yeah in 2021 as a Research Associate. Her analytical skills enable her to assess situations through primary and secondary research, and strategize effective, impact-driven solutions. She is an advocate for women’s rights and during her tenure she has been able to contribute to empowering marginalized women through entrepreneurship. She is inherently inquisitive, which means she performs extensive analysis of any given data to identify problems, scopes and opportunities. Sidratul is currently pursuing her BBA from Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka with a concentration in Marketing. She has diverse work experience in industries such as consulting, content writing and transport. Her aspirations include making a positive impact in the lives of young women through her work, and facilitating them to exercise their right to decent living.
Shehrin Kazi
Shehrin Kazi is a research associate at Bangladesh Youth Enterprise Advice & Help Centre (B’Yeah). She is also working as a junior consultant at Symm Consulting ltd. She has worked as a content writer for Gaznobay for a brief period in 2020. She is currently doing her bachelors in Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka. Experienced in establishing collaborations and managing projects, Shehrin has successfully worked in projects like “TA-8994 BAN: Third Capital Market Development Program: Capital Market Research” as a Research Associate & Script Writer for ADB (Asian Development Bank) where she performed extensive research on capital market development in Bangladesh. She has also been a Lead researcher and Data Manager on a Research Project on Bangladesh statistics for business development for Mitsubishi Corporation. During 2020, Shehrin has worked with Alokito Hridoy Foundation for the project: Business Plan Development of the Online Teacher’s Training Platform for Alokito Teachers where she showed her skills as a consultant. Shehrin continued to show her expert consultancy skill during her work with International Labor Organization (ILO) where she was as a consultant and has worked extensively on the project by developing the brand identity and a long-term communication strategy for GPSL3 under the SKILLS wing of ILO. Shehrin has recently worked with SWIFT Sites Inc. as a Lead Market Expansion Researcher and had an immense contribution to the project on Financial Modeling & Market Research for SWIFT Sites. Apart from work experiences she also performed tremendously in competitions with many organizations. She has been awarded as Champion in a Brand Aid 2021 Business Case competition organized by East West University Business Club. Shehrin has managed to get herself a 70% Scholarship in a ISCEA PTAK Global Supply Chain Competition 2020 organized by ISCEA PTAK Bangladesh. She has been awarded as a 1st Runner Up on a Bizporium 2021 Business Writing Competition organized by Gaznobay and SWAP.
Tasmim Sultana Nawmi
Tasmim Sultana Nawmi joined B’Yeah as a Research Associate in 2021. She has been working on the collaboration projects between B’Yeah and Symm Consulting. Before that, she worked as a Business development Executive at Symm Consulting. As a Research Associate, her work involves studying the development sector to find, analyse, assess and curate effective solutions for the rising strategic problems facing the developing countries like Bangladesh. Her focus of work includes conducting in depth study and analysis of the scenario of the developing world and the roadblocks it faces in terms of SMe growth and social barriers faced by women. Currently, she is completing her BBA from Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka, majoring in Finance and minoring in economics. Her passion for writing has led her to contribute to The Financial Express as an article writer. Her drive to work for social progress can be evidenced by her work for Jhilimili-a non profit organisation- working towards improving the lives of disadvantaged children of Bangladesh. Her plans for the future include studying economics and finding effective solutions for social progress (especially for children and women) in the least developed and developing countries and to be a part of the policy making that will lead the growth of the developing world.
Nahian Iftekhar Alam
Nahian Iftekhar Alam joined Bangladesh Youth Enterprise Advice and Help Centre (B’Yeah) as a Reseach Associate in 2021. Currently, he’s working in a collaboration project with Symm Consulting Limited about empowering and upskilling the youth in Bangladesh to make them future-ready and nurture an entrepreneurial mindset.
Nahian graduated from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Dhaka with a major in Finance. He joined Robi Axiata Limited after graduation. As a member of the Strategic Planning team, he took part in formulating key strategies for the company to maintain growth. Afterwards, he joined ShopUp, the largest full-stack B2B commerce platform in Bangladesh as a Program Manager in the Baki (Digital Credit) team. He oversaw the operations of two business segments, maintained the MIS of the Digital Credit team, and coordinated with other stakeholders in the company regarding fund management and disbursement. He also has experience of working in Digital Marketing, Data Visualization, and Project Management.
Tania Akter
Tania Akter is a Program officer for the Youth Entrepreneurship development department of B’YEAH. Her core responsibilities include creating and conducting entrepreneur selection databases, conducting entrepreneur development training, mentoring and mentor matching and training on their skills development, creating informative presentations, presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences. creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients. Tania Akter completed her MBA with a major in finance from Stamford University. She has completed her masters of education in Botany from Barisal Govt. B.M. College.
Akhand Mihir Faiyyaz
Akhand Mihir Faiyyaz joined B’yeah as Business Consultant and Project Officer in August 2022. His engagement involves creating Concept Notes, Proposals, and Data-based white papers for the organization. He fancies working with big data. His Data Analysis skills provide insight into decision-making rationale and infuse data-driven risk management schemes to mitigate dire situations. He was involved as a Technical Analyst and Trading Strategist in 6degrees Technologies for 2years before joining B’Yeah. He studied in Bachelor of Architecture under the Department of Architecture, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST).
Nazmul Hasan Nadim
Nazmul Hasan Nadim has been working at B’YEAH as the Communications and Knowledge Management Officer since May, 2022. Mr. Nadim is responsible for leading and executing communications strategies along with producing digital contents and knowledge materials for B’Yeah. He is also certified from Youth Business International as a Growth and Performance Skills trainer for entrepreneurs. Previously, Mr. Nadim has worked as a ‘Project Holder’ of a European Union funded project. Before joining B’Yeah, he worked for the Centre for Peace and Justice, BRAC University for 8 months. He is also the founder of United Action Foundation which is a non-profit voluntary organization. For his excellent humanitarian contribution in the society, Mr. Nadim has been recognised with the title of Global Goodwill Ambassador by Global Goodwill Ambassadors Foundation in 2019. Nazmul Hasan Nadim completed MSS and BSS both in Development Studies from Bangladesh University of Professionals.
Arafat Reza
Arafat Reza works as a research, partnership, and communications consultant for B’Yeah. His responsibilities in the role include assisting us in developing meaningful partnerships with other organisations through short-term and long-term strategic planning to expand our presence in Bangladesh and abroad. He is also expected to create relevant content for training and research programmes, as well as other events from time to time. Reza has worked in various capacities at multiple organisations prior to joining B’Yeah, allowing him to develop all of the skills required to fulfill the responsibilities that fall under the scope of this role with absolute commitment and efficiency. To begin, he was recently appointed as the Commonwealth Chamber of Commerce’s South Asia features editor, after serving as one of their correspondents in Bangladesh since the beginning of 2022. In this capacity, he is expected to write and edit articles for publication on the organisation’s official website, as well as to expand the team of correspondents working in South Asia. In addition, he works as a Research Associate at ULAB’s Center for Enterprise and Society (CES), Bangladesh’s first university-based research center dedicated to entrepreneurship and business research with a focus on ethical, environmental, and social sustainability. His first exposure to the responsibilities of a research associate came while working as a Research Associate for Dr. MD Parvez Sattar, an Assistant Professor of Law at Independent University in Bangladesh. However, he has also worked as a feature writer for The Business Standard, one of Bangladesh’s most renowned national English dailies, where he was entrusted with the responsibility of writing thoughtful analyses on various contemporary issues on a regular basis, as well as developing and editing content for their Panorama page. Reza’s foray into journalism, however, began a few years before joining The Business Standard, and he has since written over 200 articles for various national and international platforms. Moreover, Reza is a seasoned event organiser, having worked with several organisations that have organised over 100 events in Bangladesh, some of which have been sponsored by global brands such as Nokia and Pran-RFL Group. Aside from the aforementioned professional commitments, Reza has worked as a Teaching Assistant at London College of Legal Studies (South), Legal Intern at A.S & Associates, Brand Development Associate at Goodhearts International Bangladesh, Publication and Partnership Lead at Revival Mental Health, and Band Manager at Poraho.
Shahin Forhad
Shahin Forhad is the Capacity Building Coordinator of B’YEAH. He has been working for entrepreneurship development in Bangladesh for more than 13 years.He has already provided entrepreneurship development training to more than 4000 thousand trainees, special to youth and women. Mr. Forhad received his MSS degree in Social Work from University of Rajshahi.
Arifur Rahman
Arifur Rahman is the Project Director of B’Yeah. He is also an independent consultant having expertise on traditional and Islamic finance, Accounting Information System, Cost Accounting, Management Information System, Project Management, Data Driven Business Research, Quality Management, Business Process Outsourcing, Business Development and ,most importantly, on learning and development. He also achieved a number of IT certifications including Microsoft’s certification on Excel and ICDL certification computing and information technology. Mr Rahman a certified management accountant and Islamic finance qualified professional.
In recent years, he had worked as CFO and in other leading positions of different companies in Bangladesh. Before that he worked for a British investment firm as a Budgeting Expert. He has gained experience in the consulting profession by working independently with a number of MNCs and major telecom operators in Bangladesh. He had successfully conducted more than 100 training programs on his expert areas over the last 10 years. His major academic area is finance. Besides this he carried on gaining professional qualification on management accounting, Islamic finance, project management and risk management.
Mr Arifur Rahman had trained executives from Banglalink, Robi, Grameenphone, Bikash, A2I, Square, Beximco, Acnabin, IFC, ILO, Care, Dnet, ICT Ministry, and more than hundred other public and private organizations. At present, Rahman is working on various business consulting, professional training and development projects. He is one of the most popular trainers at Bdjobs Training.
Md. Rashed Mamun
Md. Rashed Mamun is the Executive Director of B’YEAH. He is an impact-driven leader with extensive cross-cultural experience in spearheading dynamic teams in ICT, Education, and Capacity Development sectors in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Timor-Leste, Philippines, and Myanmar, alongside hands-on knowledge of business process enhancement, change management, training, and management consulting in both not-for-profit and for-profit. He has particular expertise and interest in aligning business goals with technology solutions to achieve organizational sustainability through ensuring continuous process improvements. He is trained in Dr. Mikel J. Harry Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification Programme and PMI-USA certified Project Management Professional (PMP) to deploy, implement and engage superior strategies, tactics, and tools – regardless of the organization’s size or the nature of its business. Mr. Mamun completed Master’s in Development Studies (MDS) from the University of Dhaka and Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from North South University.

Mahrukh Mohiuddin
Mahrukh Mohiuddin is the Director of the University Press Limited. She has also served as adjunct faculty and researcher at School of Public Health, BRAC University. She is a graduate from the Institute of Business Administration, University of Bangladesh. She also holds a MPH degree from Tufts University.
Armina Hoq
Armina Hoq is currently working as the Operations and Finance Manager at Nisai Group. She also worked as the Partner Relationship Manager at Augmedix. Armina Hoq completed BSc in Mathematics with Management from the University of Surrey.
Sumala Subhat Chowdhury
Sumala Subat Chowdhury has worked in the Development sector and helped set up one of the leading Tourism Companies in Bangladesh. She has worked in the areas of Education, Innovation, Communication, Marketing and Corporate Affairs. She is currently working at UCEP. She has also worked as the Head of Innovation at iSocial. She received her MA in Governance and Development from The Institute of Development Studies (IDS), Sussex.
M.K. Aaref
M.K. Aaref is a general member of B’YEAH. He is an architect and planner. Mr. Aaref trained both in the US and the UK and also worked as a consultant in the post-privatization regulatory framework for local government agencies. He is also involved in writing and cultural programming. He was the Founder Director of the Edward M Kennedy Center for Public Service and the Arts, also known simply as the EMK Center.
Layla Harun Naznin
Ahmadul Hoq
Ahmadul Hoq is the Managing Director of Nisai Bangladesh Ltd. He is also the Founder and President of Bangladesh Association of Call Centre and Outsourcing (BACCO) till 2017. He is also the Vice Chairman of the Bangladesh Industry Skills Council (ISC) for ICT, under the government of Bangladesh. In parallel he is a founder Director of B’YEAH in partnership with Youth Business International, UK a Mentor Program for Entrepreneurs of Bangladesh since 2008. He co-authored the Bangladesh Government Policy on the Contact Centre and BPO Industry with the support of Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC). Mr. Hoq is also the Vice Chairman of the Bangladesh Industry Skills Council (ISC) for ICT, under the government of Bangladesh. He graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington – College of Business in Accounting.
SAM Showket Hossain
SAM Showket Hossain is best known in Bangladesh Corporate Sector as an Inspirer of leadership, people and organization development. He is an advisory committee member of B’YEAH. SAM Showket Hossain is currently Group Chairman and Managing Director of Centre for Developing Management Excellence, TACK International Bangladesh-Nepal, TMI Bangladesh-Nepal, Express One Limited, and Editor of Commerce & Industry. Mr. Showket is a member of the National Press Club for more than 30 years and former Vice President of the Bangladesh News Paper Employees Federation. Mr. Showket’s academic brilliance in Law, he did his LL.M and LLB (Hons) from Dhaka University. He also obtained a Post-Graduate Diploma in Industrial Management from the Bangladesh Institute of Management and obtained another Diploma in Leadership from the Institute of leadership, UK.
Golam Mainuddin
Mr. Golam Mainuddin is an advisory committee member of B’YEAH. He is the former Chairman of British American Tobacco Bangladesh since August 2008. After obtaining his Master of Science degree from Dhaka University. Mr. Mainuddin also serves as an Independent Director and the Chairman of the Audit Committee of Advanced Chemical Industries (ACI) Bangladesh, Director of Apex Adelchi Footwear and the Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Company (IIFC) at the Ministry of Finance, Bangladesh. He also served as the Director of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI), a Committee member of Metropolitan Chambers of Commerce and Industries (MCCI), and an Executive Committee member of Bangladesh Employers Federation (BEF). He was declared as CIP (Commercially Important Person) by the Government of Bangladesh for the year 2010 and 2012.
Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury
Abdul Muyeed Chowdhury is a retired Bangladeshi bureaucrat and former adviser, with the rank of minister of the 2001 caretaker government. He founded B’YEAH in 2007. At present, he is an advisory committee member of B’YEAH. Upon completing his MA with First Class in Modern History from the University of Dhaka in 1964, he started his 33-year-long career in Civil Service. He also attended the University of Tennessee as a Fullbright Scholar to study Public Administration. He is the Founder Chair of the SME Foundation, Tiger tours Ltd. and the Federation of NGOs in Bangladesh (FNB). Mr. Chowdhury previously served as the Executive Director of BRAC for seven years. He has a wide range of 50+ years of experience in public policy formulation and implementing development projects.
Mohammad Kamrul Hasan Bhuiyan
Mohammad Kamrul Hasan Bhuiyan is one of the newest board members of B’YEAH. He is currently the Director – Finance, Grants, and Administration of The Asia Foundation. Mr. Bhuiyan has more than 17 years of experience in the development financing sector. Mr. Bhuiyan graduated in Accounting from National University and completed his MBA majoring in finance in 2008 from BRAC University.
Faizul Latif Chowdhury
Faizul Latif Chowdhury is a famous Diplomat and Economist. He completed his post-graduation in Economics from the University of Dhaka. Later, he obtained a master’s degree in public policy from Deakin University, Australia, and holds an MBA from London School of Economics and Political Science, UK.
Prof. Syed Fakhrul Hassan Murad
Since the very beginning, Prof. Syed Fakhrul Hassan Murad has served B’YEAH as a core board member and a former treasurer. He is the Former Chairman & Key Resource Person at the International Centre for Technology & Management and a former member of the Board of Governors at Centre for Development Innovation and Practices – CDIP. He completed his M. Sc. in Textile Tech. from Manchester University in 1990
Gulshan Nassrin Chowdhury
Gulshan Nassrin Chowdhury joined B’YEAH in 2019 with a vision to train and educate the young generation in the design sector, especially women, to become economically independent, creative and in the end become assets for the country. She has been the Chairperson of Radiant Institute of Design since 2007. She is also the Director of Bangladesh Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BWCCI), Executive Member of Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI), and an advisor of Classic Magazine. She completed her bachelor’s degree from National University in 2004.
Ashfah Huque
Ashfah Huque is the CEO of Entertainment Republic & A-ART. Mrs. Huque is also the Managing Director of Inforlink, an advisor of Bangladesh Youth Forum (BYF), and a trustee of Neuroscience institute. She has an excellent track record of working with the vulnerable youth community in Bangladesh & has 22+ years of diversified developmental experience. Ashfah Huque completed her Master’s in Business Administration and management in 1994..
Salauddin Kasem Khan
Salauddin Kasem Khan is one of the leading industrialist and development thinkers in Bangladesh. He is the Executive Chairman of the SEACO Foundation and Co-Chairman of the EC National Skills Development Council (NSDC), headed by the Prime Minister. He is also the Former President of Bangladesh Employers’ Federation and Former Chairman of AKTEL, Bangladesh.
Ubaidur Rob
Ubaidur Rob is one of the pioneer governing board members of B’YEAH. He holds a PhD in population planning from the University of Michigan, an MS in applied statistics from the University of London. He is also the Country Director of the Population Council in Bangladesh. Mr. Rob’s work is informed by 25 years of experience managing, developing, implementing, monitoring, evaluating development research projects. Previously, he was a visiting professor at Jahangirnagar University, a research and evaluation advisor with AVSC (now EngenderHealth). He teaches a postgraduate course at the University of Dhaka and supervises master’s and PhD students.
Shahariar Sadat
Shahariar Sadat is currently the treasurer of B’YEAH. He has been serving the organization since 2017 as an active board member, and from 2021, he has been appointed as the treasurer. Mr. Sadat completed his post-graduation in Economics from the University of Dhaka in 2000. Later he graduated in Law from the University of London and completed a Master’s in Industrial and Employment Relations from ITCILO under the University of Turin. He is also the Director of the Centre for Peace & Justice (CPJ), BRAC University. He is an advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh. Mr. Sadat has more than 22 years of combined professional experience in planning development projects & justice advocacy.
Manzoor Hasan OBE
Manzoor Hasan OBE is a lawyer-cum-economist trained at the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn and at the London School of Economics & Political Science, London, England. Mr. Hasan is currently serving as the Chair of B’YEAH as well as the Executive Director of Centre for Peace and Justice (CPJ), BRAC University and an Adviser to the BRAC Institute of Governance & Development (BIGD). He has previously worked as the Deputy Executive Director, BRAC, Regional Director (Asia-Pacific) of Transparency International , and the Founding Executive Director of Transparency International Bangladesh. Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II awarded him the Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE) in 2003. He has 40+ years of professional experience in advocacy, policy development & governance.
Hedayetullah Al Mamoon
Hedayetullah Al Mamoon is a retired Senior Secretary at the Ministry of Finance of Bangladesh and the chairperson of Janata Bank. In 2008, Mamun was appointed the Additional Secretary to the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary affairs. Bangladesh Judicial Service Association expressed concern over the appointment of Mamun as he was an admin cadre. In 2009, Mamun served as the Secretary at the Ministry of Culture. He then became the secretary at the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism in October 2009. Mamun served as the Secretary at the Ministry of Information. From 2014 to 28 February 2017, Mamun served as the Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce. Mamun became the member secretary of the newly launched Association of Former Secretaries. He is also a member of the governing body of Bangladesh Institute of Governance and Management.
Ali Ahmad Sahal
Ali Ahmad Sahal is the ICT Officer of B’YEAH. He is responsible for maintaining the computer networks of the organization, providing technical support and ensuring the whole company runs smoothly.He also monitors and maintains the company computer systems, installs, and configures hardware and software, and solves technical issues as they arise. Ali Ahmad Sahal received his MBS and BBS degree from National University.
Sajal Mallick
Sajal Mallick is a Program Officer of B’YEAH for the project field office team to implement all project activities in project field level area. He is responsible for the field level project activities of the organization by developing plans for long-term project goals. He is a results-oriented and highly enthusiastic humanities and development professional with over 5 years’ experience in Entrepreneur & Youth Group Development, Education, Sexual Reproductive Health Rights and Child Protection, Humanitarian Crisis (Rohingya Refugee issue) & Livelihood. Sajal Mallick is a postgraduate from National University in Social Science. He also completed the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from there.
Md. Mazedur Rahman
Md. Mazedur Rahman is working as the Admin & HR Officer at B’YEAH and having more than 12 years` experience in the field of accounts and admin in the Development Sector. During that period, he has successfully played roles in training, communications and finance as well. Md. Mazedur Rahman attained his MBS and BBS degree from National University.
Shahin Miah
Shahin Miah is the Senior Finance Officer for the Finance and Accounts department, leading B’YEAH finance to record financial transactions and produce financial reports. He is responsible for the financial management of the organization by developing plans for long-term financial goals. He monitors the utilization and implementation of the project’s funds and informs the management of taking necessary steps as well as planning to utilize the remaining grants. His experiences as a senior finance officer with B’Yeah allowed him to develop accounting and management cost estimation and budgeting skills. Additionally, he has more than twelve (12) years of experience in the field of finance and accounts working in the national and international NGOs. Shahin Miah completed a certificate course on information system audit (IS Audit), IFRS & IAS from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) in finance from Bangladesh University is up to date with current accountancy practices.
